Violas
Gibertoni & Nalin Milan 2020
(Model: Andrea Guarneri “Conte Vitale”, 1676)
Our most used viola model is taken from the well-renowned “Conte Vitale” made by Andrea Guarneri and his son Pietro in 1676. The original has struck us for being so well preserved, and it is exciting to study both aesthetically and historically; it has a beautifully proportioned wide body, and it is also among the first violas with a smaller size, making it perfect for the modern player.
